For those first time visitors out there, Classic Wall Works was and is formally known as NuFauxFX, and it's old site is still up and active at NuFauxFX. This new site reflects several changes to the company along with it's name. We hope to make it more interactive for our clients as well as an invaluable tool of reference for our Interior Decorators and Designers. We hope students will find this helpful as well. Once finished, we hope you will find it useful as a tool for ideas as to finishes and mural possibilities available from Classic Wall Works.
At the moment, we are still not fully updated, as there is quite a bit more to go up. Not only will all the finish samples from NufauxFX be posted in appropriate and easy to view categories, but there will be quite a bit of additional finishes as well, along with new categories.
I'm currently in the process of completing a work shop that will enable Classic Wall Works to take on major furniture refinishing work and will post that as well. It will include some of the most up to date techniques and enable us to take on much more cabinetry work and apply our knowledge of distressing and aging to any object or surface.
As you can see, some Murals are now posted that were made by Sean Crosby and Pascal Amblard. The collection is extensive and we will strive to get them up ASAP. I'm currently working on getting up a Portfolio page for the Evangelist Murals. These fresco-style murals depict the 4 evangelists (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John) and Pascal and Sean were commissioned to complete this work by the restoration board at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Macon, Georgia. These murals were part of an incredible restoration of the church to celebrate their 100th anniversary. Each of the evangelist murals were painted on canvas in the style of Michelangelo's figures from the Sistine Chapel, and were later installed by Sean Crosby in the churche's tri-forums using the marouflage method.
The services offered through their studio are truly a great addition for our clients and Interior Decorators, Designers and Architects in need of Murals of the highest quality and caliber. These are some of the finest artists today with extensive backgrounds spanning 40 years. Once again, not your run of the mill murals or children's room murals, these are true works of art that Interior Designers can take full advantage of for those special projects. Please check back as the galleries expand in the Murals section. I'll be posting full bios of Sean Crosby and Pascal Amblard so that all can get a full sense of the depth of their talent.
We began Installing Custom Moldings under NuFauxFx and continue to do so, along with the addition of Ceramic Tile Backsplash installation which is now being offered. Pages and explanation of services will be going up as well. We hope that you keep it in mind when developing ideas and concepts for interiors.
A new Tips and Techniques section will be going up and general information about Decorative Painting and Painting in general.
